CERTIFICATION LEVELS

Certification Program Levels

There are different classifications in the CCS Certification Program depending on whether your company is considered construction or non-construction. The determination is based on your responses to the “Type of Work” questionnaire on the application.

For construction, the different classifications are CCS Safety Certified, CCS/IDOL Certified Partner, CCS Safety Qualified and Participant.

To be CCS Safety Certified, you must meet the following requirements:

Please note: EMR is no longer included in the calculation. However, some owners may have a designated EMR threshold. Please contact your specific owner for further guidelines.

If you do not meet the requirements of any of these other levels, then you are a “participant.”
